Following the Incubator Brief of 'The World as I Explore it', I've interpreted soundwaves of different Jewish experiences. Please feel free to look at the different sounds I have reinterpreted visually through six scrolls of paper, by clicking the different options of sounds to see visualised.
This scroll drawing can be seen as the most accurate to the visuals of actual soundwaves. The drawing represents an extract of soundwaves produced through a phrase being spoken in Yiddish, specific to the Jewish community through a mixture of Hebrew and German. The horizontal line is representative of the silence or pauses within the phrase when no vertical frequency lines appear, whilst the tallest vertical lines represent the highest volumes.
