ABOUT

I'm a Fine Art student, in my first year at university. My work explores Theology and seeks to visually express the philosophical state of faith religion and my own connection with Judaism and GD.  Ancient scriptures from the Tanach are the building blocks of my work. Researching Judaic literature, seeking to process and express my interpretation of ancient scriptures, from a modernist view point.

The essence of Judaism and religion is often lost in modern, secular nuances. The texts of our ancestors reveals all the secrets and answers we seek. When asked to create work around the topic of Jewish identity, the scripture came to me first. Not only does the Tanach  reveal  our ancestry but it revives the spirit of our birthright. and connection to the land of Israel.

I aim to express the chaotic nature of the spiritual and physical world the chaotic nature of the divine and how in my experience, the path of Torah and these ancient ideas has and aided my personal development. My aim to visually represent the chaotic divine and the philosophy of the state of Judaism through my own personal experience of being an observant Jew in a world so far removed.
